Ports used by Profile Manager in macOS Server

Profile Manager uses certain ports for device enrollment and management. 
To use Profile Manager, you should make sure that the following ports are open on your network.

In macOS Server, service data can be stored on a non-startup volume. The steps to restore from a Time Machine backup depend on whether your data was stored on the startup (boot) volume or a non-startup volume.  When restoring, restore from a local Time Machine backup. Upgrading JSS Upgrading the JAMF Software Server (JSS) involves the following steps: 1. Prepare to upgrade. 2. Run the JSS Installer. 3. Finalize the upgrade and revert server settings. Note: The JSS Installer cannot be used to upgrade the JSS v8.1 or earlier. Prepare the JSS Installer Download the JSS Installer from JAMF Nation. 1. Connect to JAMF Nation 2. Go to My Assets. 3. Show Alternative Download (Click for Which OS want to download default for mac available.) 4. Down load the file in the server. (Both main server and DMZ if using DMZ) Note- If upgrading from version 9 to 10.5 first need to upgrade to 10.0 then 10.5. While Identity Finder is distributed from the IdentityFinder.com website as a dmg, modification to the dmg or application bundle contained therein is not supported.  Any organization using the Mac client must create and deploy a custom Installer Package that can include a custom xml file, license file, and other supplementary files as well as configure the endpoint service application. The only supported method for creating a custom Installer Package is to use the Identity Finder Client Custom PKG Builder (PKGBuilder) application referenced by and attached to this article.  This application uses pkgbuild, productbuild, and productsign, which are all included with Mac OS.
